David Huddleston is a fifth-generation farmer from Carroll County and currently resides on his farm in Roopville Georgia where he and his son, Andrew, operates their cow-calf operation.
In conjunction with his chicken houses, hayfields and beehives, he recently retired from Carroll Electric Cooperative (Carroll EMC) after proudly serving for over 36 years. David took pride in his work and enjoyed serving the community and building life long relationships during his time at Carroll EMC.
David Huddleston enjoys all aspects of agriculture, but his passion is focused around youth and future farmers. Beyond much of his business success, he considers his work with area FFA Programs , including establishing a jacket scholarship and hosting 300 plus FFA students from seven counties for an ag-educational day at Carroll EMC, to be some of his greatest accomplishments.
The only thing greater is working along with his son, Andrew, and passing down the knowledge, expertise, and drive that takes to be a farmer.
David looks forward to serving as the next State House Representative for District 72. (Georgia)
